Vincent - Thanks for the connection. Checked your humaninfosite and read. Of all things I've come across in life Becker was the one who, head and shoulders above all else, explained it all. Your thoughts (on the site) are very interesting and your project massively ambitious and equally important. I think maybe we have a slightly different take on Becker though. I get from him that our illusory world of symbols, while certainly about fear of death, is constructed to protect us from our fear of life (not talking about being afraid of the dark here) and our frail condition of not being able to truly experience life without going insane. Denial of Death was massive, but I got a lot out of Becker's Birth and Death of Meaning as well.
